Q: Which laser do you use to perform your procedures?
A: SlimLipo by Palomar. This laser uses a wavelength ideal for targeting fat. SLIM stands for Selective Laser Induced Melting.

Q: How can the SLIM Procedure help me?

Q: Is this just for women?
A: NO! This SlimLipo procedure is great for both men and women who have areas of unwanted fat.

Q: Which parts of my body can be treated?
A: Areas of unwanted fat. SlimLipo is good for your tummy, waist, hips, thighs, knees, buttocks, arms, and under the chin. It is also quite successful with men who need male breast reduction.

Q: Is this different from traditional liposuction?
A: Yes, very different. Traditional liposuction leaves larger scars, causes more bleeding and more post-treatment pain, and requires longer healing times than the SLIM Procedure. Also, traditional liposuction physically breaks up and suctions out intact fat cells, while the SLIM Laser Assisted Procedure efficiently melts and liquefies fat, which is then gently removed from your body. Q: How long is the SLIM Procedure recovery time, and what should I expect?
A: Typically the recovery time is shorter than traditional liposuction. Many patients can go to work the next day. You may see slight bruising which may take several weeks to resolve.
