Real Housewife Jill Zarin Undergoes a Liquid Facelift

April 26, 2011 @ 10:49 AM — by admin

The Real Housewives of New York star Jill Zarin appeared at the TV Land Awards this month with noticeably smoother, wrinkle-free skin. Beauty experts and fans of Zarin's hit Bravo show immediately began to wonder how the Housewife, who is in her late 40s, achieved such a youthful appearance. Instead of going the typical celebrity route and claiming that her appearance is all-natural, Zarin went on The Wendy Williams Show last week and disclosed that she recently underwent a liquid facelift to rejuvenate her appearance. She went on to tell People magazine that she undergoes the liquid facelift procedure every six months.

The liquid facelift is quickly growing in popularity among men and women that want an effective, non-surgical way to treat facial wrinkles and skin laxity. The procedure involves the use of injectables to minimize the appearance of wrinkles and produce more facial contour. Philadelphia plastic surgeon Paul Glat typically uses BOTOX® Cosmetic to lift the brows and treat crow's feet and other wrinkles surrounding the eyes. Dermal fillers such as Restylane®, Radiesse®, Juvéderm™, Sculptra® can be injected around the mouth and nose and along the jaw line and sides of the face to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and slackened skin.

Because the liquid facelift procedure does not require the use of a general anesthetic or incisions, patients experience far less downtime than they would if they underwent a traditional facelift. In the majority of cases, patients can return to work and normal activities the day after undergoing treatment. Ideal results are seen in two to four days. The cost of the treatment varies depending on the number of facial areas that are treated and the amount of product that is injected, but typically ranges between $1,000 and $3,000.

Philadelphia BOTOX® injection expert Paul Glat performs the liquid facelift from the comfort of our Bala Cynwyd office. Contact our practice today to find out if the procedure is right for you.
