We offer laser hair removal services here in the office. This is permanent hair reduction. Typically, these treatments are done in a series of treatments. The goal is to have the client come in and to catch the hair in the active growing state and if it’s caught in that state, the hair is destroyed. Typically after a series of treatments, the hair is reduced by at least 80% to 90%. The hair that’s left is much finer, much more manageable, it doesn’t come in as easily. Areas like facial hair or bikini, underarms, back, virtually anywhere on the body that you want to have hair removed, it’s safe and very effective. It’s also good for all skin types so it doesn’t--it won’t discolor the skin and it’s not painful. It--we use topic anesthetics and we actually use cold air and the combination of the two makes the procedure virtually painless. Typically, the treatments will last anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes and the clients can go back to work or go about their day.
