Schedule a consultation
Take the first step in changing your life for the better, by scheduling a private consultation with Dr. Paul Glat, a leading Philadelphia plastic surgeon.
Located in Bala Cynwyd and serving Philadelphia and South Jersey, Dr. Paul M. Glat, MD, FACS, performs eyebrow design restoration for patients desiring plastic surgery options.
The hair of your eyebrows is unlike any other on your body. While we can use hair from your scalp for grafts in eyebrow restoration, placement of those grafts is the key to natural-looking eyebrows.
Our hair restoration experts understand the subtle differences in hair direction across the eyebrows. If the hairs are not placed correctly, the brow will look awkward. At the inside edge of the eyebrow, the hairs point upwards. In other areas, the hairs naturally point horizontally toward the ears. The center part of the eyebrow is a combination of upward and downward hairs that meet in the middle of the brow. Great attention must be given to these subtle changes in hair direction to ensure a natural appearance.
The primary difference between eyebrows on men and women is the degree of arching. A man’s eyebrows are more horizontal, whereas a woman has an elegant arch to her eyebrows. Our hair restoration staff carefully lay out the design of your eyebrows before the restoration process begins. This allows them to mark the appropriate arch and also gives you the opportunity to make any changes to the eyebrow design.
Dr. Glat and his staff look forward to working with you to develop cosmetic goals that help you look and feel your best.* Costs associated with eyebrow design vary by patient, and we offer CareCredit® as a financing option. Also, check our Current Specials.
